DCG Welcomes Thrive Wellness to the Historic Roy House in Downtown

DCG welcomes Thrive Wellness to the Historic Roy House in Downtown with plans to move in, January 2020.

The historical building at 491 Court St. was built in 1922 with close proximity and easy access to the Downtown Riverwalk and Financial Districts. 

The property sold for $1,090,000 and is 4,407 sqft, not including a 2,038 sqft basement.

Dominic Brunetti, CCIM and Scott Shanks, SIOR of DCG represented the buyer, McGeiger Investments, LLC. Patrick Riggs, also of DCG represented the seller, Q&C Investments.

Kat Geiger, LCSW, CEDS – Thrive Wellness’ founder – began operations in March at 421 W. Plumb Lane. The holistic treatment center was created with a global perspective on mental healthcare in mind, scaled to serve its clients on a local and personal level, according to a press release provided by The Abbi Agency on behalf of the new business.

Thrive Wellness offers many outpatient services, including individual therapy, family therapy, primary medical care, psychiatric services, medication management, nutrition therapy, and group therapy. For those seeking more intensive services for eating disorders, the clinic offers partial hospitalization/day treatment and intensive outpatient programs. Thrive Wellness accepts clients aged eight and up.
