Dickson Commercial Group helps party supplies company relocate to Reno

Stacked-2-Color-Logo Reno, Nev. – Dickson Commercial Group announces it has assisted in the relocation efforts to bring another Bay Area company to Reno. Meri Meri, a company that designs and distributes a wide variety of party, gift and stationary materials, will relocate its distribution operations from Belmont, Calif., to the Reno area.  The new distribution facility is projected to create about 10 new jobs once operations begin. “In looking at options that included many different parts of California as well as Las Vegas and Reno, we decided on moving our distribution center to Reno to realize a significant cost savings over all of the sites in California,” said Meri Meri CEO Jeff Schalk in a statement to the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada.  “Some of our employees plan to make the move to Reno along with our new facility, motivated by a better standard of living compared to the Bay Area.” The company will occupy a 35,000 sq. ft., facility, owned by GLP, located at 4945 Aircenter Circle, Reno, Nev., just south of the Reno Tahoe International Airport. Scott Shanks, SIOR, and Joel Fountain represented Dickson Commercial Group to help Meri Meri find the ideal commercial space for its new distribution operations in Reno.]]>
