Aqua Metals announces plan for 125,000 sq. ft. facility in Tahoe-Reno Industrial Center

Reno, Nev. – Dickson Commercial Group announces the completion of a deal that will bring Aqua Metals to Reno after the company’s acquisition of land in the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center (TRIC). Aqua Metals purchased 12 acres of land on Peru Drive within TRIC and plans to build a new 125,000 sq ft., facility in the expansive industrial industry zone.  The deal places Aqua Metals on the growing list of businesses migrating to the greater Reno area to conduct business. Aqua Metals, headquartered in Oakland, Calif., developed AquaRefining, a new environmentally-clean approach to lead-acid battery recycling that is designed to be less expensive, more efficient and capable of producing a purer product than conventional lead smelting.  AquaRefining also has the potential to eliminate virtually all of the toxic waste issues generated by lead smelting. Dickson Commercial Group Principals Scott Shanks and Dominic Brunetti represented Aqua Metals in the deal.
